Dr Jamie is an active researcher in the spheres of plant molecular biology and statistical process control. He regularly hosts and supervises students from multiple universities in which he holds honorary or adjunct positions. His PhD focused on molecular mechanisms and biochemistry of plant nutrient uptake. He also has a Master of Food Science and a Master of Medical Cannabis Science and Therapeutics. His interests are product development and process optimisation, and he brings an enthusiasm for problem solving and continuous improvement of quality. 

Kimber is passionate about plant science, research, and learning. Since completing his undergraduate studies in biochemistry and beginning working in the industry in 2017, Kimber has continued to develop his academic and professional skills, including both PhD and MBA studies which are currently underway. He enjoys the problem solving aspects of research and shares this passion through regular supervision of students and recent graduates. Kimber finds plant and fertiliser research rewarding, by helping groups to achieve greater results and making the world safer, healthier, and more productive!
